Pet Nutrition Consulting

Let’s discuss your pet’s diet and lifestyle. Although your pet may be content eating nothing but table scraps, their overall quality of life is closely linked to their diet. Our nutrition counselors can talk to you about what kind of food to feed your pet, as well as how much and how often. Other factors (daily walks, does your cat go outside, amount of play) are also added to the equation to give your pet the healthiest diet possible.

Veterinary Nutritionist helps you find the best diet plan for your companion.

Your pet’s diet is an essential factor in their overall health, and we want to help guide your family in the right direction. According to the Association for Pet Obesity Prevention, 53% of adult dogs and 55% of adult cats in the US are obese or overweight. 22% of dog owners and 15% of cat owners thought their pet’s weight was healthy when they were actually overweight!

We provide options for pets with special dietary or weight management needs. Our nutritional counseling services can help keep your pet in good health! We’ll work closely with you on food selection and feeding practices for your pet’s different life stages. If your pet has a medical condition, we can help you select the most appropriate diet to suit your pet’s needs.

As your pet’s needs change over time, we’ll be here with recommendations. Our precedent-setting Woodbury vet services focus on your pet’s wellness and health. Schedule your pet nutrition consulting visit today!

Notice to our patients

After much thought and consideration, we have come to the challenging realization we are not able to provide your pet(s) the level of care they need on a consistent basis at Woodbury WellHaven Pet Health . Because of this, we have made the decision to join our veterinary clinic with our other local WellHaven hospitals. Merging our hospitals will allow us to solve staffing challenges while offering increased availability and dependable care for your pet(s).

Over the next couple of weeks, we will be open fewer days as we transition to closing. We ask for your patience and understanding during this difficult time for our team as we navigate through our day-to-day. Unfortunately, we will no longer be able to accommodate additional appointments. Our last day seeing patients at Woodbury will be March 11, 2022.

To obtain a copy of your pet’s medical records please email us at recordswoodbury@wellhaven.com so we can email your pet’s records directly to you, or the veterinary clinic of your choice.

If your pet has a Care Companion Plan (wellness plan) at Woodbury you will no longer be billed for the plan as it has been canceled effective immediately. If you have additional questions about the wellness plan you can email: recordswoodbury@wellhaven.com.

We are so grateful for your support of our practice over the years and will greatly miss seeing all of you and your pets. Thank you for trusting us with the care of your pet(s), we wish all of you the best.
