Internal Medicine Veterinarian

We provide inside-out care for your pet. There may come a time when your pet may be showing signs of injury or illness – loss of appetite, listless behavior, or unwarranted agitation. But it’s hard to know exactly what’s wrong with our pets with just a visual examination. WellHaven is well equipped to take a closer look at your pet – the newest radiology equipment and in-house labs allow us to examine, test, and diagnose any internal problems. If you suspect something is up, set up an appointment to see us.

Internal veterinary medicine can provide quick diagnosis and quicker treatment.

When your pet is not feeling their best, we’re able to use the latest technology to quickly diagnose and start treatment.

X-rays can be used to evaluate your pet’s internal organs like the heart, lungs, and abdominal organs, as well as bones. When it comes to accurately diagnosing your pet, radiology can be an extremely valuable tool in our diagnostic arsenal.

We’re also stocked with an in-house laboratory that allows us to perform blood chemistry analysis, thyroid level analysis, coagulation profiles, and to test for things like parvovirus, feline leukemia, and Lyme disease.

When your pet is not feeling their best, our experienced team uses the latest technology to make sure that they’re feeling their best as quickly as possible. Trust our precedent-setting Woodbury vet services to quickly diagnose and treat whatever is ailing your pet. Schedule your internal medicine visit today!

Notice to our patients

After much thought and consideration, we have come to the challenging realization we are not able to provide your pet(s) the level of care they need on a consistent basis at Woodbury WellHaven Pet Health . Because of this, we have made the decision to join our veterinary clinic with our other local WellHaven hospitals. Merging our hospitals will allow us to solve staffing challenges while offering increased availability and dependable care for your pet(s).

Over the next couple of weeks, we will be open fewer days as we transition to closing. We ask for your patience and understanding during this difficult time for our team as we navigate through our day-to-day. Unfortunately, we will no longer be able to accommodate additional appointments. Our last day seeing patients at Woodbury will be March 11, 2022.

To obtain a copy of your pet’s medical records please email us at recordswoodbury@wellhaven.com so we can email your pet’s records directly to you, or the veterinary clinic of your choice.

If your pet has a Care Companion Plan (wellness plan) at Woodbury you will no longer be billed for the plan as it has been canceled effective immediately. If you have additional questions about the wellness plan you can email: recordswoodbury@wellhaven.com.

We are so grateful for your support of our practice over the years and will greatly miss seeing all of you and your pets. Thank you for trusting us with the care of your pet(s), we wish all of you the best.
